Before work commences every vehicles is examined in great detail. An in-depth, fully itemised estimate is prepared. Once authorised, the repair can begin immediately reducing wait time.
Sometimes the extent of the damage results in alteration of the vehicle structure, in such cases the vehicles is put on a ‘jigging’ system. The Blackhawk Shark Jig allows our Technicians to repair all vehicles to original manufacturer specification, using only original manufacturer parts.
Once the bodywork is repaired the vehicle is sprayed. Matching the paint colour is an important part of the process. The colours are matched using a highly specialised paint mixing area, which involves the use of formulas, computers and our highly skilled Technicians. All our paints are water based which comply with the current Environmental Protection Standards.
All vehicles are sprayed in the Spraybake oven, which is a state of the art auto stray booth giving you better paint adhesion and smoother finish. The booth also protects the environment, as excess fumes are collected in special filters and do not exhaust into the environment. Our oven is capable of accommodating all vehicles – cars, vans, jeeps and commercial vehicles.
All waste paints are recycled to comply with current environmental standards.
